Growing up in the North of England, I studied the History of Ideas in London and Hong Kong. Seeking to translate ideas into reality, I started my career at Hawkpoint Partners in London, supporting growth consumer businesses in Private Equity M&A, IPOs and refinancings.
I joined Verlinvest in early 2016, and head our European Growth team and London Office. I am also responsible for our FMCG practice globally, and supporting the internationalisation of our portfolio companies. I serve as a Director or Observer on the Boards of Tony’s Chocolonely, Oatly, Who Gives a Crap and JamJar Investments (innocent founders’ VC fund).
I am particularly passionate about no-compromise brands that marry profit & purpose and write frequently on the topic. I am a strong believer that good business can contribute positively to society and am excited to work with and empower entrepreneurs daring to challenge that status quo.
